Pool time!

Our pool has been quite a life saver this summer! I love that we can just go in our backyard to cool off and have fun. Jacob loves it so much. If you're the one to hold him be prepared to get soaked by this splashing!

8 months!

Jacob at 8 months can:
Crawl very fast. Sits on knees and bounces when happy. Has 3 teeth. He has is right front tooth, and both bottom front teeth. His left front tooth on top wants to break through and is very red and swollen. He can pull himself up in furniture. At 8 1/2 months he tried to move from the couch to the coffee table. He stood for a second without holding anything, realized he wasn't holding anything and then sat down. He had his first cold this month. He and Michael had it together. Poor mommy ;( he's all stuffy and fussy. He likes to babble and blow bubbles. Bath time and pool time make him so happy. When we open the pool cover and carry him near the pool he kicks his legs and waves his arms around. When he's in the pool he splashes and squeals with excitement! He loves to chew on frozen peaches and teething crackers. Lately he's a drooly mess because he's working on all those teeth. He still sleeps with his mommy and daddy and is the cuddliest baby! He still laughs uncontrollably when he's tired. It's very sweet. He's very easy going and such a joy. You an make him giggle so easily and cuddle him all day long!

Michael is two years old!!!!

Our little boy is 2! It's been amazing watching him grow into the sweet little boy that he is. He's so loving, fun, and smart! He's talking up a storm (in two and sometimes three word sentences ;) He is a sports fanatic already, watching golf with daddy and running outside early in morning to play t-ball!
