I took Michael to the park this morning and we did some serious playing! Then we fed horses on the way home. It's a good day :)

Sweet little Jacob

Brothers

I can't believe my Michael is a big brother now! Seeing him around Jacob is so wonderful. He gives him kisses on his feet and stares at him so intently.

Seeing them together also makes Michael look so big! It's amazing to think that he was little like Jacob just a short while ago! He has grown so much since then and I am astonished by how quickly he is learning new things, and changing into a full-fledged toddler! Just today he said the word "outside"! Part of me is like "no! Stay my baby!!", but I love watching him grow at the same time.

He is such a gift, I am the luckiest girl to be able to be his mommy!

Binky addict

It's almost time that Michael gives up the binky. Two is the magic age when the binky needs to go, so we only have 6 mire months, and I'm terrified. He always has one, sometimes two (he wants a backup), it soothes him instantly, and he must have it to sleep! This will be rough, there's no doubt about it. Especially since his baby brother likes binkies too. In sure he'll pluck the binky from Jacob's mouth when his is taken away. Ahhhh....I wish we didn't have to do it!

Hearst Castle

We went to Hearst Castle in San Simeon over the weekend with my dad. Michael loved the bus ride to the top of the hill to see the castle, but wanted to be held the entire time! He wriggled around during the tour and squealed a little bit! Jacob just slept in his carrier :)
