Jacob Lee's Baby Shower!!!

We've named our littlest boy! Jacob Lee Riso!! I can't believe he'll be here in our arms in just a few months! I can't wait!

This past weekend we had a baby shower thrown for us in Clovis. Both grandmas and grandpas were there, and so many of our friends from Fresno. It was really nice of everyone to celebrate our upcoming arrival!

Michael did the honors of announcing his little brother's name to everyone with his shirt that said "Jacob's Big Brother." Made by his mama of course!

Family Pictures

We went to Aptos in September to take pictures with Christopher. Michael was 13 months old and I was 6 months pregnant. I think they turned out great!

Pumpkin Patch- Take 2!

Our second trip to the pumpkin patch was an impromptu one. Anthony and I decided to go after dinner this Friday. The upside of this adventure was that there were few people there in the evening, and the weather was great. The downside, was my pictures were poor and towards the end we couldn't see anything! I think the picture issue is enough for me to justify another trip to the pumpkin patch! Reasonable, right? Hehe, I'm crazy when it comes to pictures! Oh and I must add that Michael LOVED the wagon they had at the pumpkin patch. I think it's time to look into getting one for the little man!

Addy plays dress up!

Anthony and I went to a movie so Michael went to Laurel's to play with Addy. This is the picture Laurel sends me while we are away! So cute!

What a handsome boy! I think I may be a little biased but he may be the cutest kid I've ever seen!!!

A boy and his pets

Michael just loves his cat Rick. I try to keep them away from each other because he's not the nicest cat, but with Michael he rubs his head on his legs and purrs. It's so cute!

Park time!

Michael and his friend Addy love playing at the park! They can be really cute together whey they aren't fighting! :)

Play Day!

We went to the Children's Museum in SLO today with Laurel and Addy! The kids had a lot of fun playing with all of the toys!

Brotherly Love

It's so sweet how affectionate Michael is with us! He has even started to come up to my belly and give it kisses and rub his little face all over it! I love him! Let's just hope he loves his baby brother this much when he arrives in a few months!

Baby Bump

Ouch!

Michael really likes his big boy car seat but I can't figure out how he can sleep in it. It looks so uncomfortable!!!

Big Boy!!!

It's the simple things in life, like my baby boy FINALLY holding his own bottle, that make me so happy!!! I never thought he would, but with a lot of persistence he did it on his own! Ha! He is one after all!!! :)

Michael gets his very own couch!

It's so simple, but he really likes it! We bought Michael a couch and he sits in it and watches his toons!

Little shopper

Michael does not like shopping with his Mama, at all! My shopping trips are not drawn out and i don't linger around. He just hates it! He wiggles around and whines until I give up and carry him around the store.

This time as we were entering the store I saw the 'car' cart. After sanitizing the inside of the car with every wipe in our diaper bag I put him in and hoped for the best. It was one of the best times we've had at the store in a while! He loves it! He is such a cute, he turned the wheel the entire time!

Fall is in the air!!!

The days are finally cooling down! This week we pulled out our sweaters and coats and turned off the AC! Michael is wearing his little hats to keep his ears warm (it's been a huge challenge). He looks so cute all bundled up! Anthony built a fire for me the other night because he knows how much I love when the fireplace is going! Oh how I've missed this weather!!!

Off to the A.V.

We went to Lancaster this weekend to visit my side of the family. It has been six months since Michael and I last visited for Easter and almost a year since Anthony made the trip! As it always is when we visit, there are so many people we want to see but so little time to do it in.


We went to breakfast this morning with Mimi, Papa Marc and Grandpa Larry. This afternoon we saw Uncle Gregg, Michelle and the kids. This evening Great Grandma and Grandpa came over for dinner. We just need to see Grandma Diane tomorrow and we will have seen the entire bunch!


Michael had fun at his Mimi's today playing with the puppies and the wagon she gave him. He made her pull him around the driveway over and over again in the big wagon until she broke a sweat! He was a shy boy most of the day always looking for his Mama but eventually wakened up to a few people.


It has been a great trip, in glad we made it even though it's hard traveling with the dogs and baby when your pregnant!
