Jakey is 9 months old!

My sweet little one, you're getting so big! So much has changed and we're loving every minute. You have four teeth, and drooling like crazy so we're expecting a new one to make a debut soon! You babble 'mama' although I'm not sure you know who or what that is. You are in need of your fourth haircut. You're eyes are still an amazing blue. You scrunch your nose and give the biggest smile when you are happy. Dancing is a new skill you've learned. Sitting on your bottom, you raise your arms in the air and bounce up and down. You have serious mommy attachment. Daddy gets so frustrated when he tries to help me out because you want only your mom to hold you. Michael is your favorite playmate! You get so excited when he wakes from his nap and when he gives you love.

He is one amazing little guy!

I just realized today while watching Jacob play with his brother today that he had really grown so much! He I feel like in the blink of an eye he went from a newborn to a little chubby baby zipping across the floor giggling! He has started to do things so much faster than I remember Michael doing and I assume that's because he's imitating his big brother already! He already pushes cars around on the floor and makes 'vroom' noises and he also tries to sing along with the song 'Row Your Boat' while he rocks back and forth!

Avila Beach

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I love where we live! This weekend it was unbeleiveably hot so we decided to drive out of the 100 degree weather to Avila beach where it was 30 degrees cooler. It was a quick trip, but we had fun and escaped the hot hot weather for a bit!
